Njalo ekuseni lapho kukhanya,
Ngikubona khona, ukukhanya kwenhliziyo yami.
Ukumamatheka kwakho kuchitheka njengamazolo,
Futhi zonke izinsuku ngiphinde ngizalwe ngobuhlungu
Sokufuna ukukugona ngempela,
Ukukuvikela emimoyweni yomhlaba,
Ukuphatha zonke izinyembezi zakho,
Ngikugcine uphephile eceleni kwami.UNkulunkulu wakha ubuso bakho ngelangabi elithulile,
Wahleba ubuhle lapho esho igama lakho;
Ijika lomusa kuwo wonke umugqa,
Isihe esikhazimulayo emehlweni akho aphezulu.
Wapenda izinkanyezi phakathi komphefumulo wakho,
Wabe esemisa udonga engingakwazi ukuliduduza—
Ngoba bonke lobu bukhulu bebungenzelwanga
Ukuphendula umthandazo wenhliziyo yami.Bengingakwakhela izingadi ngezikhathi,
Ngibhale amahubo esibhakabhakeni sasemini,
Ngithwale izinsizi zakho esifubeni sami,
Ngikuthande kuze kuhlale izilwandle.
Kodwa izulu ladweba umugqa othulile
Phakathi kwenhliziyo yakho nenhliziyo yami.
Uyamongamela, ungenalwazi, uthambile futhi ukhululekile—
Awusoze wabona ukuphihlika kwami.Ngakho-ke ngizokuthanda ngisesithunzini,
Isifungo esiyimfihlo esingasoze saphela.
Njalo ngikubona namanje,
Ngifa kancane kule ntabamlilo
Lapho uNkulunkulu wakwenza uphelele, ongenaphutha wena—
Wangifundisa uthando engingakwazi ukulenza.
