We are entering a future that I have been living in my mind since the 1980s. Although I am very excited for the utopia, which could be built, I am deeply disturbed by the current dystopia, which seems to be unfolding. I was naïve and believed that deep down, most people live by the principle of doing to others as you would like them to do unto you, but it turns out that most are just greedy and self-obsessed.
I am writing this open letter to the South African government to inform you of what will happen in 2027, 2030, 2035, 2040, and 2050. I will lay out what is being discussed and highlight the best, most humane actions that should be taken, as mankind is entering the next stage of human development.
AI and robotics are developing at neck-breaking speeds. By 2027, 15% of jobs can be replaced by AI and Robotics, by 2030, 50% of all jobs can be replaced by AI and robotics, and by 2035, there will be no need for human employment, by 2040, there will be no need for farms, and by 2050, we will have space colonies, housing millions.
Let’s place this in real terms. By the next national election in South Africa in 2029, up to 80% of the population could be unemployed, and whoever is in power at that stage will be judged on the basis of their actions between 2026 and 2029.
Now you may think to yourself that you will just prevent AI and robotics from being used in South Africa. That is not an option; countries that refuse to upgrade to an AI and robotics economy will not be able to compete on the international stage. Goods and services provided by AI and robotics will be very cheap compared to the goods and services provided by humans. Robots and AI work 24/7; they do not get tired, they do not take leave, they do not get pregnant, except for those who are made to have children. Yes, in the not-too-far-off future, you will be able to take a skin sample of the female you would like to be the mother of your children, place it into a robotic womb, which will then birth you, a child. I know, scary, right?
Let me give you a real-life example: Over the last decade, countries have moved their factories to Asian countries like China to produce goods, because labor in China is very cheap. Now, with the rise of AI and robotics, there is no need for Asian workers. In plain terms, it means that by 2035, if the Chinese economy does not transform itself from a manufacturing economy to a consumer economy, it will completely collapse. All because of AI and robotics. You may say, yes but China will use AI and robotics, this will not happen. True, China and the USA are leading the world in AI and robotics, but why build something in China for the same labor cost as in your own country, where the transport costs are much lower? To make it clearer, if I want to sell a fridge to a South African, why would I build it in China and pay for the shipping from China to South Africa, when I can make it in South Africa and pay zero shipping costs?
You may ask yourself, who will buy this fridge since all the employment opportunities will be taken by AI and robots?
There are 3 socioeconomic modules proposed:
1. Technocratic Feudalism, pushed by speakers at the World Economic Forum.
2. Democratic Socialism, pushed by people like Elon Musk. was first suggested by the inventor Nikola Tesla (10 July 1856 – 7 January 1943), who could be the person Elon named his company, Tesla, after. The Trump family also reportedly had contact with Nikola Tesla.
3. Social Capitalism, suggested by the angelic scorn website.
Technocratic Feudalism
Businesses are taxed between 56 and 76% of turnover and paid to the population.
A two-tier society is proposed by speakers at the World Economic Forum. There is no such thing as human rights. No legal requirements to spy on people using a digital ID and digital currency system. No privacy. Travel restrictions. Behavior control. Software that edits the internet into which ever propaganda is pushed by the overlords. Punishment for eating too much food that contains carbon. Brain implants that allow your overlords to know what you are thinking, and to brainwash you to act and behave as they desire. You have no ownership rights; everything is rented.
Basically, total slavery on a scale never witnessed before.
Democratic Socialism
Businesses are taxed between 56 and 76% of turnover and paid to the population.
The outdated human rights bill and free speech still apply. This still allows the government to spy on the population, due to the fact that the current human rights documents are outdated.
Social Capitalism
Businesses are taxed 30% of turnover, and only the unemployed are paid by the government.
Businesses must employ one AI supervisor for every X amount of turnover.
AI supervisors only work 6.5 hours, 5 days a week.
A trader’s license is required to sell more than 100 types of products.
Those who have a trader’s license may only sell to small businesses, not the general public.
Manufacturers who produce more than 10 000 products of a single product line may only sell to those who have a trader’s license.
No trading or selling services to the general public, between Friday 18:00 and Saturday 18:00.
All employers must register their employees in a central ID database.
All property owners must be registered in the same central database.
All births must be registered to the central database.
All deaths must be reported to the central database.
All firings and retrenchments must be reported to the central database.
All RICA actions must be recorded in the central database.
A judge must issue a legal document before any law enforcement agency may access information about a specific person on the central database.
Unless a crime is committed, all financial information is private and may not be shared without consent.
You may not purposely use the likeness of an individual without written consent.
You may not share images, videos, or AI creations of a person without written consent.
You may not sell your DNA to more than 1000 people. ( Robots will be able to give birth in 15 years, to allow the human genome to remain healthy, a limit must be placed on how many times the same DNA can be used. If this is not controlled, the human race will die out.)
All copyrights, inventions, and technological advancements remain the property of the creator for 10 years, after which it expires. This does not apply to news. News may be replicated by other parties.
No income tax.
No VAT, BTW or sales tax.
No tax on primary homesteads.
Every citizen has the right to own property and goods.
Brain implants may not have any wireless connections of any kind. ( Please note: in 10 years, AI will be able to hack everything, and nothing will be able to stop it. If you can connect, you can be hacked. )
Humans under the age of 16 can not give permission for medical actions, nor implants, nor physical alterations. The permission for such actions must be obtained from the legal guardian.
The state cannot act as the legal guardian of a human under the age of 16.
A non-human can not act as the legal guardian of a human under the age of 16.
Citizens have the right to voice their opinion, even if that opinion is viewed as factually incorrect.
Citizens have the right to self-defense and the defense of property.
Citizens and the government do not have the right to call for violence and/or physical harm.
Law abiding Citizens has the right to privacy.
To access a citizen’s financial records, a court order must be obtained from a judge.
Citizens have the right to refuse implants and medical help. This right only applies if the Citizen is able to communicate their rejection of medical help.
No person under the age of 13 may access the World Wide Web.
Government utility, military, law enforcement, and energy supplies may not use the World Wide Web. The local web must be used to prevent foreign actors from hacking the system. ( Please note: in 10 years, AI will be able to hack everything, and nothing will be able to stop it.)
Local financial transactions can only be done on the local financial network. International transactions must be physically transferred from the local network to the international network to prevent foreign hackers from collapsing the economy. ( Please note: In 10 years, AI will be able to hack everything, and nothing will be able to stop it.)
Recommended Action to be taken by South Africa
- Declare an end to Black Economic Empowerment and Affirmative Action. Who are you reserving jobs for? Robots that are painted black? In order for South Africa to remain competitive, businesses must be able to replace employees with AI and robotics. Everyone is in the same boat.
- Withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.
- Build a South African-based data Centre. (Construction work, more employment)
- Lay out a strategy to obtain energy from Nigeria, Angola, R. of Congo, Gabon and South Sudan. Why buy oil from Islamic nations, enriching them if you can buy oil from African countries, enriching Africa?
- Obtain the rights to build more nuclear power stations. AI needs large amounts of energy. (Construction work, more employment)
- Build more dams. (Construction work, more employment)
- Reduce the influx of foreigners. The less poeple you have the easier it will be to move to a AI economy.
- Select the model you would implement. Technocratic Feudalism or Democratic Socialism or Social Capitalism or a combination.
- Lay out a step-by-step plan on how to transition to that model.
- Increase the size of law enforcement and the law enforcement oversight.
- Increase jail capacity.
- Take the steps needed to normalize trade with the USA. As explained before, China will most likely collapse within the next 20 years; having the USA as an ally will be a wise move.
