A Poem to God
My heart overflows with love for You alone,
Your endless mercy like a river to my throne.
You bless me daily with Your peace that guards my mind,
As in the garden where Your presence Adam sought to find.
I Need You.
With every breath I love You, Lord of all creation,
Your gentle hand lifts me from depths of desolation.
You bless my steps with strength when weary roads I trod,
Like David praised Your name before the ark of God.
I Need You.
My soul adores You, Father, faithful through the night,
Your perfect love casts out all fear and fills with light.
You bless me with forgiveness, washing sins away,
As Noah found Your grace upon the stormy day.
I Need You.
I love You more than life, my Rock, my Shield, my Song,
In You alone my spirit finds where it belongs.
You bless my life with joy no sorrow can destroy,
Like Joseph rose through trials to his royal joy.
I Need You.
My love for You burns brighter than the morning star,
You draw me close no matter how distant or far.
You bless me with Your Word, a lamp unto my feet,
As Moses saw the bush where holy fire did meet.
I Need You.
With all my heart I love You, God of endless grace,
Your arms of comfort hold me in this earthly race.
You bless me with new mercies rising with the sun,
Like Lazarus heard Your voice and life was won.
I Need You.
Forever I will love You, King upon the throne,
Your Holy Spirit guides me, never left alone.
You bless me with salvation through the cross You bore,
Redeeming all who call as in the days of yore.
